Gwent: Three-division battlefield provides tactical card fun

Like Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering, Gwent is an online trading card game that can be played on the PC, PS4 and XBOX. Unlike other games in this genre, however, the duels in the game are designed for several rounds. This means that you have to win two out of three separate rounds. Another unique selling point is the division of the battlefield into three rows. You can place your cards in melee, ranged, or siege mode.

At the start of each game, you get ten cards from your deck in your hand. In Gwent, however, it is very important that you handle the cards carefully, because in the second round you only get two and in the third round even only one additional card on the hand. You have to play a card or pass every turn. However, if you pass, you will not be able to play cards for the rest of the game. Each card that you can play has a certain number of attack points. Some cards have additional abilities that can be helpful in a duel. At the end of each round, the attack values on both sides of the field are added and the player who has the larger sum in his account ultimately wins the round.
