Mastodon is a new decentralized social media platform that has been getting lots of hype recently. But how is it different from Twitter, and is it really any better? This video explains what Mastodon is, how it works, and my thoughts on whether or not it's worth the hype. Really, it probably isn't for a few reasons I'll get into. But that doesn't mean Twitter isn't in trouble and another competitor could come along at any time.
