Write a short review about your experience and favorite features regarding the program (in a few sentences)
The best thing I like is the OCR feature. I have tried some free OCR programs and never got anything that could be of my use. For my use OCR is important, as I have scan files as well as while studying I prefer to make hand written notes. Later I  use my handwritten notes as base and keep adding more to it. Therefore, I could save a lot of time typing the hand notes, as I'm very bad at typing. Further it's nice to see that PDFelement creates editable and searchable files from a scanned document.

I also liked the Redaction feature, where in once can hide text to become invisible.

Also the Bates numbering feature is useful because when I print a PDF book, the page numbers are not clearly visible. Therefore, using Bates numbering I could easily specify number on my custom position, making it easily identifiable.

The Convert to EPUB format is useful as I can convert my notes to EPUB and import to Google Books and access it anywhere.

Lastly, the Optimization feature can help one benefit a lot by saving printer ink, without having to depend on the printer. Usually, the page optimization is done at printer end depending on their make/type. Here, one could get the same done at user level.

What are the new features you like to see

There are 2 features that I couldn't find in PDFelement Professional and would like to see them being added:
1. Redaction of PDF metadata
2. Ability to automate say a conversion/extraction based on watched folders.

Thanks,
Grr

It has a simple interface but can be improved. It doesn't support my language (Turkish) on interface. But OCR is supported. However, I tried OCR (320 pages); It's very slow but it works fine. Smile Editing is very easy, i like this. I don't recommend PDF Viewer. When converting a PDF with OCR, you can not view another PDF.
Thanks for the good giveaway.

Thanks for the giveaway.

Actually I've not used it before but this first time to try.
The most impressive feeling after use is that the UI is alike as MS Office. New users are very easy to learn to use so quickly and get used to it as if have already used for years, increasing efficiency.
The icons in ribbon toolbar are grouped reasonably. Don't overlook this issue, since I feel that ribbon style requests a little more time to switch through each group comparing with classic menu bar, if grouping is inappropriate, it will waste lots of time to find the desired icon.

For favorite features, the most I like is the OCR functionality. Sometimes I may receive some pdf from email that each page of pdf is a photo / scanned document. I hate it a lot since I cannot copy and paste the text for while replying to the author for the amendment of the document.
Also, it can convert .pdf files into many other file types. It helps pdf documents becomes more compatible with other file types, which is a great help for working with pdf files.

The feature that I would like to see in the future is the version comparison of pdf documents while being able to edit both of them directly at the same time. Once saved, there should be a refresh button to compare again.

Thanks you guys for organising this very rare giveaway here at P2D.

The PDF Element is really a good tool to edit and modify PDF pages, I had use it many years ago.
This software is really easy to use, but one think i don't like its OCR quality, it can convert properly as i want, it can't do it job like "Smart OCR" and other things are good.

The new Feature I would like to see new blank PDF page creator like MS-Office Word as short cut in desktop.
