I have been using Kaspersky Standard (formerly KIS) on one of my Windows 10 systems for a few years with no issues. It is suitable for novices too and provides excellent overall protection.

I need firewall application to block any app as Windows Firewall is not completely doing the job and blocked software can still access the Internet

Glasswire, Tarek. The best one.

GlassWire and NetLimiter should work well on Windows 10. I have not tried Windows Firewall Control for a long time, but I think it should work too.

There is also simplewall, which many users like. I have no experience with it.

For information, check the simplewall thread on the Wilders Forums.

There is also this- Firewall App Blocker.

I have used Comodo Firewall. It works well even with an Antivirus. Kaspersky doesn't let you install this firewall. But all other Antiviruses allow it.
You should install the free version(

You should install the free version(NOT THE COMODO ANTIVIRUS). Here is a link :-  Comodo personal firewall

I use Windows Firewall Control and it works very well. I used simplewall few years ago and it was very good when I used it.

@tarekma7

From the forum :
"The freemium model allows Free users of GlassWire to have access to almost every GlassWire feature, with various limitations and a history of 24 hours.
Security features that Free users can now utilize include:
GlassWire Score - Gain better insight into the safety of the applications running on a PC. See what percentage of users have used a specific app in the past week and be alerted if specious.
Anomaly Detection - Detect and point out anomalies in the network traffic which may look suspicious. See if the average traffic in and traffic out consumption of the applications running is similar to most, and be alerted when it is different.
Firewall - Click to block all network connectivity for specific applications.
Things - See a list of devices on the local network and get alerted when devices join or leave with this network device list feature."

As far as I am concerned, I use their Elite version and am satisfied (for my use).
