Ocster Backup becomes Ashampoo Backup
#1
Quote: Dear Ocster customer,
we have important news for you: the renowned german software developer Ashampoo has acquired all Ocster Backup products. As of now, these products go by the name Ashampoo Backup.
Ashampoo offers all Ocster customers to convert their Ocster licenses to Ashampoo licenses for free. As with your Ocster licenses, your new Ashampoo licenses will be full licenses, without time restrictions or subscription plans.
Convert licenses now
(Conversion only possible until May 15th, 2016)

Ocster customer support ends on May 15th
Even though your old Ocster software license will continue to be valid, we highly recommend you make the switch. Ocster customer support will end on May 15th, 2016 and there will be no more program updates after this date. Switching to Ashampoo Backup will ensure that you will get customer support and updates in the future.
Is everything different now?
Ashampoo Backup is almost identical to Ocster Backup. It is basically the same program and will feel instantly familiar.
What about the future?
Ashampoo has also acquired the development team behind Ocster Backup. This means that the product will continue to be developed by the same people that brought you Ocster Backup.

Take advantage of the proposals Ashampoo. For example, who had such programs as Ocster Backup Pro 7, Ocster 1-Click Backup 2, received full versions of Ashampoo Backup 2016 & Ashampoo Backup Pro 10.
