You Can Still Get Windows 10 for Free
The new OS is free of charge for use with assistive tech

Microsoft ended the free Windows 10 upgrade offer for Windows 7 and 8.1 users on July 29, so right now, those who want to move to the new operating system without paying for a license should basically have no way to do it.

And yet, there is a method of performing the upgrade without any costs, and it all comes down to an offer that Microsoft made available on July 29 and that doesn’t seem to come with any restrictions.
Windows 10 can be installed free of charge by those who are using assistive technologies, but what’s funny is that the company isn’t checking in any way whether such features are in place or not. As a result, pretty much everyone can upgrade to Windows 10 without paying, so Microsoft found a neat way to end the free upgrade promo but at the same time to continue offering the operating system without a fee.
“For the general public, the free upgrade offer for Windows 10 ends on July 29. However, if you use assistive technologies, you can still get the free upgrade offer even after the general public deadline expires as Microsoft continues our efforts to improve the Windows 10 experience for people who use these technologies,” Microsoft explains.

Simple upgrade process

All you have to do is click the “Upgrade now” button on this page, which downloads an executable file that starts the downloading process of Windows 10 and prepares your computer for the free upgrade.
If you’re still afraid that Microsoft might be checking for assistive technologies on your PC, the FAQ on the same page explains that “We are not restricting the free upgrade offer to specific assistive technologies. If you use assistive technology on Windows, you are eligible for the free upgrade offer.”
So there you go, Windows 10 is no longer available as a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8.1 users since July 29, but it still can be installed without paying by pretty much everyone, as long as they claim the use assistive tech. Microsoft might pull this offer at some point in the future too, but for the moment, there’s no mention of such a date.

Gizaz, these guys from Microsoft have a very specific target to upgrade all previous systems to Windows.10. I wonder why they didn't offer it for free to all the people and make it freeware as they gain a lot from our privacy. Lmao
Joking of course but I knew somehow that this saga won't end. They made a kind of modification to earlier versions of windows (especially in win 7) in order to not be able anymore to search for a specific update. Big Grin.
They are very funny. Lol
