Thanks for posting tarekma7,
You can download the 250 MB .zip file directly from develop https://macdaddy.io/style and the use the key provided by SOS, if you don't want to download the SOS installer.
I am always look forward to trying new photo editing related software, so I was kind of excited to download this Style software.
I have never come across or seen an installer that acts like this did before, and I have installed a lot of software. First the publisher could not be verified, Second the setup has absolutely no mention of where the installation will go. This is a big no-no for me.
But after some digging around, I finally located the Style.exe which gets installed to very odd location...
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME_GOES_HERE\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\46Q7QMC1.BB9\45DHRMWY.8HE\styl..tion_e5b4db6cf33f744b_0002.0001_1188b41344c3bd7f
I tried to create a 1920x1920 square image, using the drip painting effect. Style used a tremendous amount of Memory and I could not do anything for about 6 or so minutes, then it just kept crashing, I would always get the error message "There was an error processing this image..." So I tried again, and again, finally with a reduced output size to 1024, finally I got an rendered image.
Just for fun, I decided to try my all-time favorite and always free FotoSketcher from David Thoiron. FotoSketcher is available as portable, it weighs in at 8.20 MB and the end results are amazing.
Style created a watercolor effect end result (Image has been reduced to 900x for uploading)
Note - Even when selecting "None" in the image size options of Style, I just assumed that it would render the effect at the default size of the image. Well it did not, it rendered at 1440x957 instead of 3000x2000. So after 5 attempts, and 4 crashes, it could not render the image in it's default size. I had to select 1024x1024 size for it to render, keep in mind that it took almost 6 minutes for it to render/save at 1024x1024. Very disappointing.
Memory Usage - Style (generate.exe) used 3,858.5 MB of memory. It literally froze the laptop. Kept crashing with the error message "There was an error processing this image..."
FotoSketcher created a watercolor effect #1 end result (Image has been reduced to 900x for uploading)
Note - Selected watercolor effect #1. It took about a minute and a half for FotoSketcher to render/save the image at 3000x2000.
Memory Usage - PortableFotoSketcher_3.20.exe used 250.9 MB of memory.
My 2 cents - While the end results from Style were not terrible, the large file size, the consistent crashing, the high memory usage and the fact that i can't choose where to install it, and not being able to render images full size, unfortunately has made me uninstall Style.
