I have been using Downloadcrew site and their trusted software for years now... used to go looking
for new software releases and there is also Softwarecrew which I think is now
part of Downloadcrew, maybe bought out or something, not sure as I wasn't online that
much for a few years whilst my wife was gravely ill
so yeah good to go but as always ensure that you scan ANY and ALL downloads
for nasties before you install, make sure you have a current back up and maybe use
Revo Pro to install a program.
You could always load software into Sandboxie (recently released as open source) or similar to see what it
does over a few days before you install it to your system
