My two cents worth

I have been using Glasswire for many years, it is a terrific firewall and Traffic Monitor. I like to see what programs are trying to access the internet. I can allow/disallow access. There is an excellent choice of graphs showing Visual Network Monitoring, Bandwidth Usage Monitor, Network Time Machine and premium features, firewall, Ask to Connect and Mini graph.

There are nice informative non-intrusive alerts showing programs accessing the internet.

Truly an excellent program!
Glasswire is My must-have program on every build!

Glasswire is an excellent program. The Free version is full-featured.

I would recommend installing the free version to see how good this program is. Then consider the excellent features of the Premium version.

Hopefully, we can have a giveaway. Give the members a chance to win premium licenses or lifetime licenses if they are available.

Is there any system crash or BSOD? Any errors or problems with application use?

I have never had a problem with Glasswire. No BSOD, not responding etc. It just works.
It runs nicely in the background.

Non-obtrusive alerts. Nice seeing when a program is accessing the web for the first time.

Great visual representation of programs wanting access to the web, bandwidth taken etc.
Easy to view if a non-standard program is accessing the web and how much data has been sent.

The free version only allows 2 apps to be firewall blocked. The Microsoft firewall is working and doing most of the work. Both run at the same time.
Not needed to block anything as yet.

I have never liked the Microsoft firewall. Previously was only a one-way firewall. Tend to use third-party apps. Used to use ZoneAlarm for my firewall but gone off it for a number of years.

Fingers crossed that I win a premium account. 8-)

It looks very different to the Tutorial above.

GlassWire has a new modernised interface.
We have add a new improved “Traffic Monitor” tab, which shows the pre existing “Graph” and “Usage”.
We have renamed other tabs as follows: The “Security” tab is now “GlassWire Protect”, the “Alerts” tab is now “Log Analysis” and the “Things” tab is now “Network Scanner”.
There is a new “countries” column on the Usage Table view which shows data usage by country.
There is a brand new Interactive Map feature which shows data by country. This can be found as a third view within the Traffic Monitor tab.
A Live Connections feature shows which countries your PC is communicating to in real-time.
Various other UI improvements.
Various bug fixes.
