Besides the famous Internet Download Manager, Ant Download Manager is another great multi-threaded download tool which speeds up the downloading process of files from the Internet. Its CPU usage is not high, thus it will not overload the computer during downloading. In addition to almost all the functions Internet Download Manager offers, Ant Download Manager has a few handy features as well, such as the link analyzer to capture the audio or video streams on a web page.
According to my testing, the download speed of Ant Download Manager is not always as stable as that of Internet Download Manager when downloading from the same source. Sometimes Ant Download Manager’s downloading may even get interrupted for no reason and after a while it will resume.
