With the professional image editing software “HDR Projects 8”, you can generate so-called HDR images from exposure series of three to 100 shots. With the Windows software, even beginners can correct a problem with digital photos: the lack of color depth. For example, to take high-contrast and color-intensive high dynamic range photos of landscapes or buildings, take multiple photos of a scene (preferably with a tripod) using different exposure settings. Even an iPhone or other smartphone is sufficient. “HDR Projects 8” then calculates the HDR image from these individual images. You can choose from 124 presets, which not only contain specifications for the weighting and exposure of the individual shots, but also access a pool of 132 filters and effects for the individual look of a template. Alternatively, you can determine the weighting of the photos manually and use targeted effects and optimization filters from sharpening to contrast adjustment to “tilt-shift”. In addition to formats such as JPEG, TIFF and PCD, “HDR Projects 8” also imports Photoshop files (PSD) and RAW formats from common digital cameras.
