I have answers from Dave:

1. Updates are only for 3 years? and this includes both major and minor version updates? or you mean only major updates (for example version 7)?
Yes, updates are for 3 years and it includes all updates.

 2. After the three years , users can still use the last version lifetime?
 Yes, they still can use their last version

3. After three years: the user needs to purchase again ? and what are the purchase options (for example 1 or 2 or 3 years available?)
We plan to charger about $5 per year of updates after 3 years period.


 4. is there any blacklist countries (some members claim that some countries are difficult in license activation (for example Egypt),? and if yes what are these countries?
Yes, these countries are Egypt, Vietnam and Indonesia. Int his countries IDM can be purchased only from local resellers.

5. What about the old subscribed users? how will the new policy applied to them? Till now all updates are free for lifetime subscribers
We promised one year of free updates before but all updates were actually free. Now we promise 3 years of free updates. When we will charge for updates, uses who purchased 3 years or longer before will have to pay for updates as well.
